Production leadership, development, and client work during a pivotal studio transition.
A studio kept moving through structure, judgment, and project-to-project range.
At Imageline, the work was less about a single lane than about keeping the studio in motion. Brought in while the principal focused on a feature debut, the role covered operations, client cultivation, development, and production across nonprofit storytelling, branded concepts, and entertainment-adjacent projects.
Section 01
Studio Transition
Imageline was at an inflection point. With its principal absorbed in pre-production for a feature directorial debut, the studio needed someone who could step in, bring order to the facility, and keep multiple lines of work moving at once.
Section 02
Client and Development Work
Part of the role was outward-facing: cultivating existing relationships, supporting new business, and helping the studio stay active while its center of gravity temporarily shifted. That included development support tied to Brian Graden Media and other entertainment-adjacent opportunities.
Section 03
Nonprofit Storytelling
The work also moved through projects with a strong narrative and emotional charge. For USC's Widney Gala, the assignment was to produce films that could move a room of major donors toward generosity. For the Lazarex Cancer Foundation, the work centered on telling the story of experimental treatment and the lives changed by access to care.
Section 04
Branded Concepts and Range
That same stretch of time also included commercial and concept work, including a modern retelling of the tortoise and the hare for Crowell Weedon. The throughline was range with coherence: very different kinds of briefs, handled with the same attention to structure, tone, and follow-through.
